DB&OPM

This project is a partnership between two well-experienced aerospace/aviation-industry entities, DB Aerospace Solutions and OP Management (OPM).  We came together to develop this training resource to better inform the industry on not only the FAA Form 8130-3, but to specifically provide a strong introduction on how the new eForms, with their impact upon the global aerospace/aviation industry can be utilized.  The two authors participated in the key industry working group committee at the Air Transport Association which worked on this issue for nearly 3 years.  We KNOW this topic!

We feel that the use of electronic data in a widespread manner will provide many benefits to everyone involved in this market.

DB Aerospace Solutions

Dave Broughton is the principal behind DB Aerospace Solutions, and is a recently retired FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (after 30 years experience in aviation and quality control agencies). He spent 18 years with the FAA in the Headquarters Airworthiness and Production Division, AIR-200, which is responsible for the research and development of national policies, public guidance documents, and regulations revolving around Certification Procedures for aircraft and aeronautical products and parts [Reference 14 Code of Federal Regulation, parts 21, 45, and 43]. He was the project manager responsible for the revisions and issuance of the order depicted in this training.

OP Management (OPM)

OPM is a firm staffed by John Pawlicki, an aerospace technology veteran who had developed various innovative products and services (eCommerce/eBusiness software and services, digital security mechanisms, supply chain and Spec 2000-related products and services) used by the global Aerospace and Aviation industries.  John has extensive experience in handling many aspects of aerospace/aviation operational issues with technology solutions, as well as being part of emerging industry trends in various new technologies and setting up joint ventures/teaming efforts.

He is often asked to provide public presentations at key conferences and forums on topics addressing new developments and market trends.
